Fully Restored 1963 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop in Fort Wayne, IN

Fully Restored 1963 Studebaker Daytona Hardtop

I pulled the drivetrain, stripped all the chrome, glass and interior and turned it over to a professional body shop. They took it to bare metal, cut out any rust spots and welded in new sheet metal. The trunk was rusted in the rear left corner so the shop installed a complete reproduction trunk floor panel from Classic Enterprises in Wisconsin. There is no bondo anywhere in the car. The bumpers were in good condition and did not need to be rechromed. The grille is new old stock. I deleted the Daytona side trim for a more updated look. The paint is base/clear Avanti White .The stock seats were rebuilt completely then reupholstered. The recliners were rebuilt with kits from Studebaker International. The door panels are fabricated custom. The door lock set was new from SI as well.
